I purchased 2010 about 2/3 months ago and have not been able to install. We have done everything the FTM Team at Ancestry emailed us to do. We were told by the Geek Squad there is nothing wrong with our computer and another computer repair person. We have searched the web and found multiple complaints on the FTM software, including 2010. Almost every problem we have experience is mentioned in the complaints. Ancestry denies they are having many problems and said it most likely is our computer. This is not the case, we have searched throughout all databases for any signs to problems and have only found around 3/4 possible problems. We fixed them and we still cannot install. After reading all the complaints, I am frightened to use the software now. I asked for a refund or replacement in the very beginning but was told Ancestry does not refund. I have been an Ancestry user for several years and feel they should do the right thing. Or, give me a reference in Houston Tx to someone who is an expert in the installation of FTM and aware of all the problems other customers have experienced. This has been a terrible handicap. I need a software desperately. P S I had the same problem with 2007 but just gave up, because I figured it was my fault--now I know it wasn't me, it was and is the software.

Ancestry has now sent me three different disks and all have failed to load one either of my computers, both of which are running VISTA and are less than 1 year old. I have spent hours on the phone with them and they can not solve the problem. It's time for a refund.
